Students

Being a parent is hard work, but you are doing an amazing job! As your student grows there will be hard times ahead. We are here to help you navigate the uncertain waters of adolescence. Our goal and mission is to celebrate this time of life. We want to equip you and your student to grow closer to Jesus and each other.

Quest

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Quest is a weekly connecting point on Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for grades 6 - 12. This is the backbone of our student ministry. Quest is designed around four pillars.
Community
We are intentional about allowing opportunity for relationships to develop. This is accomplished through game and food time. Our volunteers actively participate with your students. We are not about glorified babysitting, but rather we intently invest in your student.
Teaching
At Quest, we teach biblical truths. Our goal is to inspire and prepare your student to grow closer to Jesus. This is done through object lessons, activities, and sermons. We strive to teach things that are relevant and applicable to your student’s everyday life. We will do all we can to help your student own their faith.
Accountability
A huge part of each week is small groups. This is a time when we split up into groups no larger than five. Small groups are separated by age group and gender. Our goal with small groups is to break down walls. We hope to get your student engaged in the conversation. We encourage small group leaders to invest in the lives of their students. Small groups also allow for accountability. We hope it will be a setting that allows your students to ask for help from people they trust.

Service
We work with your students to identify their gifts and encourage them to serve within Grand Avenue, and also our community. We believe service is a critical part of a student's spiritual growth.
